Pod Moderndog

ประวัติ

ธนชัย อุชชิน ศึกษาในระดับประถมที่โรงเรียนเซนต์คาเบรียล (SG 69) และระดับมัธยมศึกษาที่โรงเรียนสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัย (SK 108) ระดับอุดมศึกษาจากคณะครุศาสตร์ เอกศิลปศึกษา จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีผลงานร่วมกับวง โมเดิร์นด็อก 6 อัลบั้ม ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ.1994-2016 มีผลงานร่วมกับ บอย โกสิยพงษ์ ในนาม BOYdPOD อัลบั้ม Bittersweet ในปี ค.ศ.2008 ปัจจุบัน ยังคงทำงานดนตรีอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมไปถึงการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ เพื่อการจัดแสดง ในนิทรรศการผลงานเดี่ยว และจัดรายการ Pod Talk ที่คลื่นวิทยุ mellow 97.5 ทุกคืนวันอาทิตย์

แนวคิด

ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากม้าลายในศาลเจ้าของสยาม ที่เสมือนเป็นการผสมผสานความเชื่อแบบไทยๆ กับความร่วมสมัยบนพื้นที่ของคนรุ่นใหม่อย่าง ย่านสยามสแควร์อย่างน่าสนใจ แถมยังเชื่อมโยงกับบทเพลงสุดฮิต ” บุษบา” ของวงModerndogในท่อน”…ไม่เคยเหนื่อยล้ากับมาลัย

Biography

I, Thanachai Ujjin, attended elementary school at Saint Gabriel’s School (SG 69), secondary level at Suan Kularb Wittayalai School (SK 108) and higher education level from the Faculty of Education, Art Education, Chulalongkorn University. I collaborated with Modern Dogs Band from 1994-2016 and with Boy Kosiyapong on behalf of BOYdPOD, on the Bittersweet album in 2008. Currently, I continue to work on music as well as works of art for exhibitions. I also held a solo exhibition in (which year?) and hold a Pod Talk program on Mellow radio 97.5 every Sunday night.

Never get tired with “Zebra”

Concept

This artwork is inspired by the zebras in the Shrine of Siam Square. A mixture of the old and contemporary Thai beliefs with ​​the new generation like Siam Square, it also connects to the popular song “Bussaba” by the Moderndog band in the “… never tired of garlands.
